For more than four decades, my life has been a journey across science, agriculture, business, and public service. From my early years in India, to research and teaching in Jordan, to earning my Ph.D. at Purdue University, and later serving growers as a Full Professor at Texas A&M University-Kingsville—each step has shaped my perspective.
That journey continued into entrepreneurship, where I founded and built US Citrus in Hargill, Texas. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to pioneer clean citrus nursery systems, contribute to the understanding of plant diseases, develop high-density production methods, and build a vertically integrated agricultural enterprise.
But the story is not defined by achievements alone.
It is equally shaped by challenges—natural disasters, industry disruptions, and moments that tested endurance, resilience, and faith. Those experiences did not just change outcomes; they deepened understanding.
